Almeta Jewell BOOTHE Fridley

On January 22, 2002, Almeta writes: Worked for R. G. Kirby until marriage in 1952. Have five children (including twins), three girls, two boys. Lived in Mount Hope, Beckley, Charleston and Silver Spring, Maryland. Started work for the C & P Companies in 1969 and quit in 1984. This is where I moved to the computer world.

Moved to Texas in 1986 when my oldest daughter, Marsha, had her twins. Ended up taking care of them for two years then ended up clerking for her,(she was a bankruptcy trustee), until complete retirement in 1998.

Have one daughter, Marlene, living with me (taking care of mother) who is an independent consultant to Wells Fargo, one daughter (Mary) is in New York into counseling; one son (David) in San Francisco and I have never figured out what he does but it's impressive; and one son (Bob), into lawn care, still in Silver Spring. Now if I feel like traveling I have somewhere to go. But I miss those West Virginia Hills and I didn't realize how good I had it until I left Mount Hope. I'm in fairly good health for almost 72 and would love to hear from anyone who has the faintest recollection of who I am.
